City of Ozark

Ozark, is known as "The Home of Fort Rucker", and is the Heart of Dale County.  Ozark is a city of approximately 14,907 located in the corner of southeast Alabama.  Dale County and Ozark have the best of both worlds....a small town atmosphere with friendly people, yet close to larger cities and other attractions.  It is a great place to raise a family and a perfect place to retire.

Fort Rucker

Fort Rucker, named U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence in 2008, serves as the headquarters for U.S. Army Aviation. Fort Rucker covers about 63,000 acres of southeast Alabama countryside in an area known as the Wiregrass, named for a wild grass peculiar to the region. Much of the main post is in Dale County, with the remaining government-owned and leased acreage in Coffee, Geneva, and Houston Counties. The U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence trains, educates and develops Army Aviation professionals and integrates indispensable aviation capabilities across warfighting functions in support of commanders and Soldiers on the ground.

Alabama Aviation College - A Unit of Enterprise State Community College

The Alabama Aviation College provides hands-on classrooms with experienced aviation professionals. Programs include Airframe & Powerplant, Avionics, Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Mechatronics and AAC Certificates
