Shout out to the ladies pictured! They are working hard on their GED and/or their ACE certificates at the Colvin Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 12 PM. We here at the Ozark Housing Community are so proud of you all for your hard work!

Anyone is welcome to attend the GED and ACE classes, regardless of their housing authority's participation. For more details, please reach out to the housing community.

Also, Wallace College and Enterprise Community College offer various Career Tech Programs. For more information, don't hesitate to contact Amelia Martin at the Ozark Housing Community 334.774.8210 Ext. 2002.

A Few Reminders

The office will be closed on the following days:

  • October 14th for Indigenous People's Day,
  • November 11th for Veteran's Day,
  • November 28th and 29th for Thanksgiving,
  • and December 24th and 25th for Christmas.

Also, Thursday, October 31 is Halloween - keep an eye out for those trick-or-treaters, and November 2 at midnight Daylight Saving time ends. It will be dark at 5:00 PM starting November 3, 2024.

Public Housing: For re-certifications, be on time, if you need to reschedule, call before your appointment. Bring all required documents. If you need to leave a voicemail, please leave one detailed voicemail and allow 24 - 48 hours for a callback.

Please don't park on the grass around the housing units, and no indoor furniture is allowed outside the units.

Housing Choice Voucher: For recertification, please be on time; 15 minutes is late. If you need to reschedule, call before your appointment. Bring your utility bill with the account number.

Free basic computer classes at the Dale County Library every Saturday. Call ODCL 334.774.5480 for more information.
